I'm sorry. I know you are happy for your sister, but I know how much it stings that she is having a boy. When I found out my sister was having a girl I cried and didn't visit her for two months.
I know that's both a congratulations and an I'm sorry in some ways. I just found out my cousin is having a boy too and it was definitely an ouch...my eyes teared up as soon as I read the text. Happy for her but sad that I never knew B was a boy until he was dead. I hope you can find the strength to be a support for your sister and I hope your family will be sensitive to the times you can't.
I saw your title and said "oh crap!". I am so sorry you had to hear this news. I know you are happy for your sister, but I know it hurts hearing she was having a boy. Sending love and hugs your way!
I am sorry for you, I know it's going to be hard. But I am grateful that your sister isn't joining our club. Just know that Jacob is also watching over his little cousin. Your day is coming, I can feel it. Be gentle on yourself this weekend. I know it stings, ALOT. Sending you love, Carrie
That has to be so hard. I am sorry. I know you are probably thrilled for her but at the same time it's a double edged sword. Someone joked with me that I better "hurry up" or my sister could have a baby before me (she is getting married in April) and I was like - NOT cool to say it's not like I'm NOT trying now. People don't get it. I hope that your sister is understanding of your pain. (((HUGS)))
Oh Dana...I am thinking of you. I know how hard this is for you, I spent a lot of time visiting with my new nephew this weekend and it was SO HARD. I hope that you are gentle with yourself and give yourself plenty of space. Lots of love, my friend.

Stay strong. I'm sure you won't ever see him and not think of Jacob but you'll find happiness with your new nephew and Jacob's memory will live on.

Oh, Dana. Your post just sums it up.
I did exactly what Marie did. Crap. I know it's supposed to be celebrated and in a way it is. But yet it's still a sting. HUGS....

Oh Dana. What else can be said? It's a bittersweet piece of news.
((Big Hugs))
